Casa 45
Casa 45, in Loulé, is defined by pure geometric volumes in dialogue with the site’s topography. Large glazed openings connect interior and landscape, while cantilevered balconies provide light, shade, and comfort. A clear separation between social and private areas ensures both openness and intimacy, reinforced by a minimal material palette that grounds the house elegantly in its setting.
Vila Martins
Optimizing 73 sqm for a family of six led to an exploration of height and levels. Two mezzanines create sleeping niches for the kids, freeing the common area for gathering. Integrated carpentry doubles as partitions and storage, while natural materials ensure low impact and healthy interiors. Sustainable strategies—rainwater collection, phytodepuration, shading, and solar systems—support the building’s context. Set in the Algarve hills, the palette echoes the soft surroundings with playful accents for a youthful atmosphere.
Casa C
Casa C balances contrast and cohesion through compact volumes that adapt to the sloping terrain. Large glazed openings bring light deep inside, while terraces and overhangs mediate sun and extend living outdoors. Subtle level shifts organize social and private zones, complemented by natural materials that ground the house in its setting with warmth and refinement.

About us
OPE is an architecture, interiors, and design studio based in Loulé, Algarve, founded by Pedro and Eline. Our work moves at the intersection of form, function, and place, developing projects that embrace natural light, authentic materiality, and strong integration with context. Each project is approached holistically: beyond aesthetics, we prioritize efficiency, environmental comfort, and sustainability.
We understand that good architecture emerges from dialogue with the land, the climate, and the people who inhabit the spaces. Our commitment is to create solutions that are elegant, enduring, and that make every house or project feel alive with those who live in it.
We believe in the logical part of eco.
