A former 90 sqm grocery shop near the centre of Albufeira is converted into a wine & licor shop. Custom made shelving and exhibition modules where designed to accommodate a large and diverse product range. The clear and simple use of materials and colours supports some variations in display and layout. Creating a highly texturized and dynamic back wall (vintage and Port wines) the complete shop is optimized and appealing to the wondering client. This area is complemented with a ‘tasting bar’, a white tiled counter that not only is a reflection of the traditional cladding material used in housing facades but also alludes to the typical fishing counter in the Local fishing market, for which the region is known for.
